Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
• Is the therapist I want to see on your preferred provider list?
• What is my deductible and has it been met for the year?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover with this therapist?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session (i.e., what is my co-payment/coinsurance)?
• Is a referral required from my Primary Care Physician? (rarely necessary)
At this time in Oregon I am a provider for:

At this time, I am a provider for Teletherapy in California as long as it is approved by the insurance company or is private pay:

If I am NOT a provider for your health insurance, I will either give you an invoice you can submit to your plan, (called a Superbill) or I can submit a bill and will seek reimbursement from your plan. You will have to pay your portion of the payment at the start of each session. I always recommend that you call your insurance to obtain the details regarding your benefits.
If you are using your insurance, you are still responsible for paying your deductible (if any) and co-payment at the beginning of the hour.
If you prefer not to use your insurance, are uninsured, or I am not on your insurance panel: below are your payment options.
My fees for cash clients are $150.00 for the initial session and 125.00 for every 50-minute session thereafter for individuals. For any twosome, the fee is $165.00 for the initial session and $155.00 for any 50-minute session thereafter.
My Confidential, Private Alcohol Outpatient Treatment which is 12-weeks long (one session per week) is $2700.00 which may be paid as $1350.00 for the first six weeks and $1350.00 for the second six weeks. Sessions are also fifty minutes long.

I prefer checks or cash but I take credit, debit and FSA cards for payment. Please be prepared to pay at the time of your session.
When we set an appointment, I put aside scheduled appointment time for you, and cannot bill your insurance for a missed session. Therefore, if you do not show up for an appointment or cancel without 24 hours’ notice, there will be a $55.00 cancellation fee. Of course, I will make exceptions in cases of emergency where 24 hours advance notice was not possible. I will be requesting all clients to submit credit card information which I will keep on file for a cancelled or a “no-show” session, which I will bill the same week.
